I haven't seen much Trillium grandiflorum in the holler for awhile, but this year there's an explosion of them. I found these on a wooded hillside in Terry Creek's riparian zone. There were many patches of them, but this group was close enough to the road to get some clear images.
I found lots of dewy spider webs yesterday...The spider that made this web selected a beautiful spot among blossoms of Virgin's Bower, now in full bloom in the holler:
