White peavine flowers...

Peavine (Lathyrus sylvestris): I found this white bunch among the more numerous pink-purple ones near the Pioneer Post Office.

I haven't seen much Trillium grandiflorum in the holler for awhile, but this year there's an explosion of them. I found these on a wooded hillside in Terry Creek's riparian zone. There were many patches of them, but this group was close enough to the road to get some clear images.

Early morning spider webs

I found lots of dewy spider webs yesterday...The spider that made this web selected a beautiful spot among blossoms of Virgin's Bower, now in full bloom in the holler:
